Open in the editor opens the design with these defaults; change them afterwards in Modify › Parameters, and everything that depends on them follows. Opened from the editor’s template library instead (New ▾ › New from template…), the template asks for its values first and checks them against these ranges and against each other, and Copy link gives an address that opens it with your values.

Notes

Defaults fit a 608 bearing (8 mm bore, 22 mm outside, 7 mm wide) with M4 bolts on a 44 mm circle. For other bearings set the outer diameter and the width: 625 is 16 x 5, 688 is 16 x 5, 6000 is 26 x 8, 6001 is 28 x 8.

Seat clearance is added to the bearing diameter: 0.05 to 0.15 mm gives a firm press fit in PETG or PLA (print a test ring first - printers differ by a tenth of a millimetre); use a negative value for an interference fit when machining. The bearing sits from the top against a shoulder; the hole under it stays clear of the inner ring, so the shaft and the inner ring turn freely.

If the bolt circle is too small to clear the boss, or the flange too small for the bolts, the template moves the bolt circle and grows the flange to fit, and keeps neighbouring holes at least 1 mm apart. Print with the flange on the bed.
