  1. Robots, lasers and a template library

    • Robot export: URDF, MJCF, SDF and a ROS 2 package straight from an assembly, checked before it is written.
    • Laser and CNC: a thickness parameter, finger joints, box and living hinge generators, and kerf added at export.
    • Twenty parametric templates, from a finger-joint box to an SO-101 gripper finger.
    • The AI chat looks at photos, screenshots and the marks you draw on the model.
    • Sketch patterns driven by parameters, thousands of copies at a time.
    • Accounts and AI plans, in an invite-only beta.
  2. Curves, text and things to trace

    • Control point splines, blend curves and a curvature comb.
    • Sketch text in any outline font, ready to extrude.
    • Insert DXF, SVG, meshes and pictures to trace over.
    • Ribs, webs, sweeps along a guide rail and lofts along a centreline.
    • Save any body as a mesh.
    • A cycloidal gearbox that builds itself, one step at a time.
  3. Rounds of every kind

    • Variable-radius fillets, with radius points along the edge.
    • Chord-length and curvature-continuous fillets, full rounds and rule fillets.
    • Setback corners for fillets; mitre and blend corners for chamfers.
    • Patterns along a path, and zebra stripes to check a surface.
    • A new name and a mark of its own: ProtoJoint.
    • Icons on every tool, and every message in English and Chinese.
  4. Assemblies that move

    • Sub-assemblies, joint origins, and pin-slot and ball joints.
    • Rigid groups, motion axes, and positions you can capture and go back to.
    • Interference checks, section views and physical materials.
    • Coil, thread, pipe, draft and scale, and boxes, cylinders, spheres and tori.
    • Split a body with a sketch curve.
  5. Familiar from the first click

    • The keys, the marking menu and the S toolbox you already know.
    • Parameters and expressions in every number field.
    • Press Pull, Offset Face and Delete Face.
    • Joints that snap, drive and animate, and motion links between them.
    • Window and crossing selection, and a sketch saved as DXF.
  6. Bring your parts

    • Open .sldprt and .sldasm files and Parasolid, with their materials.
    • Mass, volume and centre of mass from the exact solids.
    • Designs in millimetres, centimetres, metres or inches.
    • Slots, tangent arcs, and patterns in sketches and on solids.
    • A view cube with 26 views.
  7. First sheet

    • Sketches with constraints and dimensions.
    • Extrude, revolve, sweep, loft, hole, fillet, chamfer and shell.
    • A timeline you can roll back and edit.
    • Components and assemblies.
    • Aluminium extrusion frames, with a beam check.
    • Measure.
